CHAT GTP (Content Hyper-Accelerated Text Generator Platform) is a platform designed to save people time and effort in writing blogs. It’s really fantastic and has written part of this blog; but it has it shortcomings as it draws from web related information, and we don’t talk like a website!
CHAT GTP allows users to quickly generate content by entering a keyword or phrase and automatically generates text, images, and videos that are related to the topic. It also provides tools to help users create content that is optimized for search engines, so they can easily reach their target audience. Additionally, CHAT GTP provides users with a library of ready-made content that can be used as a starting point for their own blog posts. This makes it easier and faster to create high-quality content.
Critical thinking is the domain of people because it involves using reasoning and logic to analyse and evaluate information based on specific situations, then process it against experience, knowledge and their own biases. This is not the domain of CHAT GTP.
What did CHAT GTP write next;
This type of thinking requires a great deal of cognitive and emotional effort, which is why it is best suited to people who have the capacity and desire to engage in this type of thinking.
What did I as a business coach write next;
This type of thinking requires cognitive and emotional effort, and it is why smart organizations do value employees with critical thinking skills who can leverage CHAT GTP rather than blindly follow it.
So it is our cognitive and thinking skills that generate interest and how we present “our stories” rather than information for information sake. We have to decide if the information is relevant or has credibility, and for many great sales people, it’s about how they put the story together.
From a business coaching perspective, operationally, business owners invest in systems, processes and people. And I encourage and help owners build a team around them that spends time planning, thinking strategically and critically. This creates the environment of employees who use initiative, know what to do and when to ask, and have clear parameters of risk and acceptable outcomes.
Outcome – business owners don’t get sucked into the depths of operational issues, they get to choose what they do and more importantly what they won’t do. Business owners should manage people and work ON THE BUSINESS rather than in it where the business runs them.
Critical thinking skills should be encouraged and nurtured and this should form part of all learning and development inside a business. What critical thinking achieves;
- Allows employees to analyse and evaluate situations, draw conclusions, and make decisions based on sound reasoning and evidence
- Enables employees to be proactive and make informed choices rather than passively accepting what is presented to them
- Empowers employees to recognize and consider the implications of their decisions and evaluate options before choosing a course of action or recommendation by asking “what if”.
- Allows creativity and outside the box ideas to be workshopped
- Allows employees to consider the various aspects a specific set of facts and circumstances, consider and even test different perspectives from internal or external sources, including your customers, and weigh the pros and cons of each option before making a decision.
- Helps employees to identify and resolve conflicts, evaluate information soundly, and to address problems in an effective and efficient manner before they create a larger problem.
If we are able to critically think, and allow ourselves time to do so, then we should be able to assess situations more objectively and are better equipped to deal with uncertainties of what may actually occur in the real world.
Personally I can’t see how CHAT GTP will ever form these functions but as for creating a base load of information, I plan to continue to use CHAT GTP.
