Business Coaching Solutions:

Need an Adviser?

Leveraging over 35 years of business experience to share your business journey

Need an external perspective to help your business?

Going it alone – risks versus reward.

When we first get started in business, we have an idea of what our business will look like in the years to come, but we’re not sure how realistic our aspirations and goals are. Whether our plans were set in concrete, or we just knew the general direction we wanted to head in – our business journey is often filled with challenges and opportunities we never would have imagined.

Most business owners take these in their stride, or chalk them up as a learning experience. However, over time, making decisions when you reach a fork in the road, or are figuring out what it will take to double your sales and your profits, can be a long and circular conversation when you’re talking to yourself. But imagine if you could share that journey and those conversations with an experienced business advisor.

As a business coach, I bring my 40 years’ experience to your business. I act as your sounding board, and use my management skills to mentor you and your team in helping you build a better business. Some of the most common challenges business owners talk to me about when faced with uncertainty or frustrations about their role and the business itself are set out below. You’ll find a helpful checklist I’ve provided to help you clarify the challenges you may be facing. I use this tool to help business owners have better conversations and to give them some structure – I find it better to share what’s in your head rather than going it alone.

Lost sight of your vision for the business or motivation seems hard to find?

When you think about work, are you excited and wanting to grow and build your business? Or do you feel overwhelmed that there is so much to do and nothing seems to get done, or you can’t see the point of it? Or perhaps work has just become a job, and you’ve stopped trying to build a better business.

The school of business is tough, it’s unrelenting. And once you have had a few knocks along your business journey, it’s not unusual to lose some confidence or motivation. After all, you have worked really hard but that “one knock” can set you back years. But you also know that there are some business owners who seem to really enjoy their business and love everything about what they do, and you would love it if that could be you.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way for you to find a way to get that passion and energy back to enjoy your business again and have a game plan to get there. As a business coach, I invest time in you to help you reconnect with why you went into business in the first place, and together we implement a strategic plan that delivers growth, profits and cash. My FREE checklist provides some insights on where you may be at in your business journey and by focussing on your business vision and goals, you can reignite your business journey. Or if you need some help to reset your business vision, book a time with me.

Are you wanting to choose the best possible business strategies to achieve your business lifestyle aspirations, but lack some confidence in making that decision?

Are you wanting to grow your business but not sure you have enough cash to invest in stock or staff? Is your main competitor a national brand and are you feeling like you’re getting swamped even though you’ve got some unique products? Have your sales and profits flatlined and you’re not sure how to get out of this cycle?

Business today is more competitive than ever before. And thanks to the internet, we have so much global information available, it’s easy to get overwhelmed or confused as to what is the correct information we need to make the right decisions for our business. As business owners we probably have put some metrics or key performance indicators in place, but not all of us are comfortable with what the numbers mean and how they should be interpreted when considering competition within your industry segment. After all, many numbers reflect historical performance, not the future.

As a business coach, I spent 35 years in accounting, banking and in operational roles inside small businesses doing my apprenticeship. I learned that making decisions is very difficult by yourself because generally your head is in operational mode, fixing problems and worrying about day to day things to make your business run. And getting clarity of what really drives your business and knowing what are the critical outcomes that deliver success over failure becomes a very powerful management tool. I have created a FREE download to help you think about what structures you need in place to make the best decisions for your business so that you can avoid those costly mistakes and mitigate wasted time and cash. If you need some help to work out what goes inside of these processes, please click on the link below to book a call with me.

Struggling to have your business work for you, instead of you working for it?

How are you tracking with your business goals and financial outcomes – in front, behind or just about right? Are you stuck inside the business and don’t have time to stop and think about the future? Are you scared that if you did something different, your profit and cashflow would suffer?

When business owners share their problems with me, many often say that they are working so hard to grow their business, or that the business revolves around their personal efforts, that they simply can’t afford time away from the business. Or they share with me what they are capable of achieving, but they can’t find any time to put their ideas into action.

As your business coach, I help create mindsets and strategies for business owners that allow aspirations to be acknowledged and by sharing your business journey, we work together on implementing a game plan that positions your business to win. So you get financial freedom, and at work you can focus on the things you love doing. Helping You Have More Success and Fulfillment

Regardless of how you got here, through my 40 years in business and coaching, I have found there are typically only a handful of reasons that business owners look for a business coach.

These tend to fall into four main categories and are associated with problems or frustrations of business owners that relate to Growth, Time, People or a need for an Adviser or independent sounding board.

Whilst I offer a range of business coaching services including one to one coaching, workshops and leadership development - the method comes second to the problem.
